Specialists of the humanitarian response center of the Russian peacekeeping contingent provided humanitarian assistance to residents and displaced persons in Khanadzakh village, Askeran region of Nagorno-Karabakh.
The peacekeepers carried out a humanitarian action in the administrative building of the village. Residents were given humanitarian cargo with a total weight of about 1 ton, children's and adult shoes, clothes and household supplies, and school kits were issued to school students from grades 1 to 5 inclusive.
The humanitarian supplies from charitable organizations were delivered from Russia by military transport aircraft and by road transport of the Russian peacekeeping contingent from the Erebuni military airfield (Republic of Armenia) to the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh.
In accordance with the agreements specified in the joint statement of the President of the Russian Federation, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, from 00:00 (Moscow time) on November 10, 2020, a complete ceasefire and all hostilities in Nagorno-Karabakh were announced.
To monitor the ceasefire and military operations, a peacekeeping contingent of the Russian Federation is being deployed in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone.
