During today's press conference, Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan spoke about the process of delimitation and demarcation and also referred to Russia’s proposals on this topic.
“When we say that the offer is acceptable for Armenia, it does not mean that the offer is 100% in line with Armenia’s ideas. By that, we want to show that we want to go to solutions. We have previously made proposals for a mirror withdrawal of troops.
After that, Russia came up with proposals that did not fully correspond to the logic of our proposals, but Russia has tried, it is trying to get something average out of our and Azerbaijan’s positions. In this regard, I would like to highly appreciate the personal efforts of the Russian President, the efforts of the Russian Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
When I say acceptable, it does not mean that they are 100% in line with our ideas. If it was 100% in line with our ideas, it means that Azerbaijan would not agree to it. We have to come to an average version,” Pashinyan said.
