During November 23 press conference, Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan answered the question whether the issue of recognizing the Artsakh Republic is on the agenda of Armenia’s authorities.
“We need the negotiation process to be resumed within the framework of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairing as soon as possible. Recognition of Karabakh, we must understand what it will give. For 30 years, a little less, it has been constantly discussed, and that decision has not been made. It did not happen because everyone understood that Armenia should at least not be the first and the only one to take that step.
We must understand what it will give. Nevertheless, the Karabakh issue is an international issue. It cannot be solved only by the positions of Armenia. Our biggest task should be to put our positions on the rights of the Armenians of Karabakh in communication with international positions,” Pashinyan said.
