Armenia will not consider leaving CSTO, Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan stated during the online press conference organized for the representatives of mass media and non-governmental organizations.
“I do not think that Armenia will consider leaving CSTO, as CSTO is also a very important channel of our strategic relations with Russia. As a presiding country, we must work for CSTO to have a proper participation in ensuring security in our region,” Pashinyan said.
He noted that some of CSTO countries signed a strategy of the Turkish world with Turkey. This is a reality that cannot but affect the context.
“We do not want any of CSTO member states to get involved in the conflict with Azerbaijan, we want our allies and partners to use political leverage to protect our mutually recognized mutual rights. On the other hand, I say that Armenia will not limit itself in pursuing this agenda in various international instances and circles,” Pashinyan said.
