On November 23, the newly appointed Ambassador of the Kingdom of Cambodia to the Republic of Armenia Seyla Eat (residence in Moscow) presented the copy of his credentials to the Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Armenia Vahe Gevorgyan.
Congratulating the Ambassador upon his appointment, the Deputy Foreign Minister wished him fruitful and productive work.
Ambassador Seyla Eat expressed gratitude for the reception and wishes, and noted that he will make every effort to contribute to the deepening and strengthening of relations between the two countries. He noted that the Cambodian government values the development of friendly relations with Armenia both on bilateral and multilateral platforms, as well as in the direction of economic cooperation.
The interlocutors discussed the opportunities to raise bilateral relations to a new level. Both sides stressed the need to determine the specific areas of Armenian-Cambodian cooperation, as well as the implementation of joint work within international organizations, in particular, on the issue of condemnation and prevention of genocides.
