The search for the bodies (relics) of servicemen killed and still missing during the 2020 battles was carried out today by the rescuers of the State Service of Emergency Situations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) with a detachment in the occupied southern part of Artsakh – in the region of Jrakan (Jabrayil).
Two bodies were found. Their identities will be confirmed after a forensic examination.
Since November 13, 2020, as a result of search operations carried out in the territories of Artsakh under the control of Azerbaijan and the exchange of bodies with the Azerbaijani side a total of 1700 bodies, including civilians have been evacuated.
