I do not know whether this information was published or not, but we have applied to both Russia and CSTO regarding the situation on May 12, Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said, referring to the question whether he had applied to CSTO through a written procedure.
“The situation on November 16 is taking place within the framework of the events of May 12, when the Azerbaijani armed forces invaded the territory of Armenia. And we continue our discussions, and we think that we should find ways to effectively internationally assess the behavior of Azerbaijan. We will not limit ourselves in this regard, and Armenia will consistently defend its rights in all possible instances. We will not simply reconcile with it. I repeat, the policy of coercion will not be accepted by Armenia, because there is no international notion of “the right of a war winner’,” Pashinyan said.
The Prime Minister emphasized that the Republic of Armenia is a sovereign state.
“We are ready, and we will go, we will negotiate, we will work hard, we will take responsibility, and we will go for solutions, but this does not mean that Armenia will act under coercion. Armenia will not act under coercion. We will use all the international levers and formats available to us to protect our rights,” said Nikol Pashinyan.
