There is no need to declare martial law in Armenia at the moment, Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan stated during the online press conference organized for the representatives of mass media and non-governmental organizations.
“The Government estimates that there is no need for that at the moment. When there is such a need, the Government will take such a step. But we hope there will be no such need. Yes, we sharply criticize Azerbaijan in this situation, but it does not mean that we are looking for escalation,” Pashinyan said.
The Prime Minister stressed that Armenia will not miss the opportunity to speak directly with Azerbaijan.
