Other countries are trying to weaken Turkey economically by interest rates and prices hikes. The statement came from Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan at a news conference following the cabinet meeting. Most of Erdogan’s speech was dedicated to the economic situation and economic policy of Turkey, Turkish media reports.
He expressed confidence that “Turkey will emerge victorious from the economic liberation war.”
Erdogan briefly referred to Turkey’s role in the South Caucasus, noting in particular: “Our successful crisis management in unstable regions such as Syria, Libya and the Caucasus expands the scope of our political and humanitarian activities.”
