On November 20, at 16:46 local time (12:46 Greenwich Time), the seismological network of the Territorial Seismic Protection Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia registered 40.94⁰ north latitude and 48.89⁰ east longitude, 40 km northeast from the city of Shamakh, Azerbaijan, 20 km deep, 4.9 magnitude earthquake.
The magnitude of the earthquake in the epicenter was 6-7.
The earthquake was felt in the city of Stepanakert of the Artsakh Republic (Nagorno-Karabakh) with a magnitude of 2-3.
