Georgia reported 4 278 coronavirus cases, 4 154 recoveries, and 63 deaths on Friday, the official figures show, the First Channel reports.
Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 1 749 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 715 cases, and the Shida Kartli region with 412 cases.
A total of 51 298 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country. Among them, 31 273 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 20 025 were PCR tests.
The daily test-positivity rate stands at 8,34 %, while 9,52 % in the past 14 days.
Georgia’s total case tally reached 804 571 among them 741 470 people recovered and 11 352 died.
There are 41people quarantined, 6 490 Covid-19 patients are hospitalized, 1 173 asymptomatic, and mild symptom patients are placed at the government-assigned facilities.
As of November 19, 2 082 020 people got the Covid-19 vaccine, with 7 099 in a day.
