On November 18, Anush Begloian, the Leader of the Armenia-Lithuania friendship group of the Armenian National Assembly met with Andrius Mazuronis, the Deputy Speaker of the Lithuanian Seimas and the members of the delegation.
The diplomatic relationships between Armenia and Lithuania were established in November 1991. Lithuania is the only Baltic country to have officially recognized the Armenian Genocide.
Anush Begloian emphasized the importance of the development of the Armenian-Lithuanian diplomatic relationships, as well as the continuation of the cooperation in international structures. The leader of the friendship group expressed gratitude to the Lithuanian side for the material and moral support in the fight against the pandemic, as well as in the international structures and during the 44-day war. The NA Deputy stressed the necessity to develop the Armenian-Lithuanian relationships.
The Deputy Speaker of the Lithuanian Seimas also mentioned the importance of the development of the bilateral relationships and the strengthening of cooperation between the Governments.
