Georgia reported 4 446 coronavirus cases, 5 320 recoveries, and 77 deaths on Thursday, the official figures show, the First Channel reports.
Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 1 646 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 819 cases, and the Shida Kartli region with 422 cases.
A total of 50 026 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country. Among them, 31 072 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 18 954 were PCR tests.
The daily test-positivity rate stands at 8,89 %, while 9,63 % in the past 14 days.
Georgia’s total case tally reached 800 293 among them 737 316 people recovered and 11 289 died.
There are 52 people quarantined, 6 505 Covid-19 patients are hospitalized, 1 170 asymptomatic, and mild symptom patients are placed at the government-assigned facilities.
As of November 18, 1 074 270 people got the Covid-19 vaccine, with 7 307 in a day.
