In the settlement of the situation between Armenia and Azerbaijan, the role of the Russian diplomacy increases. The President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin announced at the extended session of the board of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia.
"The latest shootings on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border showed that the situation in this region has not calmed down completely”, emphasized the Russian President. According to him, for ensuring stability, the efforts of the Russian peacekeeping troops are extremely necessary as the guarantor of the security of the peaceful population and the ceasefire regime.
