The secretaries of the Security Councils of Armenia and Azerbaijan are taking part in the annual meeting with their CIS counterparts in Moscow, RIA Novosti reported quoting the press service of the Russian Security Council.
“The ninth annual meeting of the Secretaries of the Security Councils of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) has started in Moscow, with the participation of the Secretaries of the Security Councils of Russia, Armenia and Azerbaijan Nikolay Patrushev, Armen Grigoryan and Ramil Usubov,” the statement reads.
The Armenian Foreign Ministry announced on Tuesday that the Azerbaijani armed forces had invaded the sovereign territory of Armenia. There are 7 victims and 10 wounded from Azerbaijan due to aggression. The Ministry of Defense of Armenia informs that there is one victim, 13 prisoners of war. During the military operations, the connection with 24 servicemen was lost, their fate is not known at the moment. Intensive work is being done to find the servicemen.
