“Currently, the Azerbaijani armed forces are using artillery, actively shelling the border positions of the CSTO member state Armenia’s Syunik province.
Let me remind you that the main goal of the Collective Security Treaty Organization is to strengthen peace, international and regional security and stability, to protect the independence, territorial integrity and sovereignty of the member states on a collective basis, the priority of which is given to the political means by the member states.
The game of the Azerbaijani authorities is a continuation of impunity for the entire period after the signing of the trilateral statement, especially after the clear position of the Armenian and Russian sides on the agenda, the so-called absence of the Zangezur corridor.
We want to emphasize the determination of the authorities of the Republic of Armenia, the people, to defend the sovereignty, territorial integrity and independence of their Homeland,” Sandikov said.
