In the interview with ‘Lurer’ Secretary of the Security Council Armen Grigoryan, referring to Azerbaijan's aggressive actions and border tensions, stated that recently Azerbaijan, not receiving the corridor, has started torpedoing the entire negotiation process, even in the direction of unblocking.
“You know that when Russia announced the fact that there would be no action according to the logic of the corridor, the first steps they took were the closure of the Kapan-Goris road, the installation of customs checkpoints, followed by border tensions. In general, Azerbaijan is trying to completely destabilize the peace or stability process that is going on, to create an unstable situation in the region,” Grigoryan said.
He noted that by its actions Azerbaijan is trying not only to delay, but also to disrupt the whole process of demarcation, demarcation, because Armenia is completely ready for the process of unblocking, demarcation and demarcation.
"We have repeatedly stated that we are ready to start the process of delimitation, demarcation on the basis of existing legal documents from the USSR. In this regard, the Armenian authorities have repeatedly stated that they are ready to pass this process at the highest level. However, Azerbaijan has been torpedoed regularly. Today, being in the sovereign territory of the Republic of Armenia, it violates the possibility of creating an environment where delimitation and demarcation can begin on the border,” Grigoryan said.
