Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan had meetings with Karen Murray, the Deputy Director of the Asian Development Bank, who presents Armenia in ADB Council, the official website of the Government reports.
Greeting the guests, the Deputy Prime Minister valued the cooperation with the ADB, in terms of formulating the right business culture and increasing the transparency in Armenia. Mher Grigoryan presented to ADB Deputy Director the main goals of the Government program, separating the main directions for the possible cooperation with ADB.
Karen Murray mentioned that it is an honor to present Armenia in ADB and the main goal is getting acquainted with the priorities of the Armenian Government.
There was a reference to particularly the construction of the North-South highway, the possible cooperation in water and communication, also in the development of human capital, particularly the reforms for the educational field.
The two sides valued the existent programs with the ADB in the private field, in this context the importance of developing the capital trade and the cooperation in the energetic sphere was emphasized.
