On November 8, Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation and Azerbaijan Sergey Lavrov and Jeyhun Bayramov held phone talks ahead of the anniversary of adoption of the trilateral statement signed by the leaders of Azerbaijan, Armenia and Russia, Russian Foreign Ministry reports.
The sides continued to exchange views ahead of the anniversary of adoption by the leaders of the Azerbaijan, Armenia and Russia of the trilateral statement of 9 November 2020 on the cessation of fire and end of all hostilities in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone. The foreign ministers also discussed current issues on the bilateral relations and the regional agenda.
Earlier, Lavrov had held phone talks with his Armenian counterpart Ararat Mirzoyan. The foreign ministers of the two countries discussed a wide range of issues related to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
