Russian peacekeepers conducted patrols along the demarcation line of the sides in the area of responsibility of the Russian peacekeeping contingent in Nagorno-Karabakh.
Patrol groups made a multi-kilometer march on modern armored personnel carriers BTR-82A and Ural vehicles of improved cross-country ability on public roads and on unpaved impassable roads, passing remote settlements of the region.
"Russian peacekeepers conduct daily patrols along various routes in the Mardakert, Martuni, Askeran, Shusha districts of Nagorno-Karabakh, as well as along the Lachin corridor. During the patrol, the ceasefire regime is monitored, the air situation is monitored and local residents are interviewed," said Maxim Sazonov, a representative of the Russian peacekeeping contingent.
At twenty-seven observation posts, Russian peacekeepers are conducting round-the-clock monitoring of the situation and monitoring compliance with the ceasefire regime.
In order to coordinate efforts to prevent possible incidents in the area of responsibility of the Russian peacekeeping contingent, continuous cooperation is maintained with the general staffs of the armed forces of Azerbaijan and Armenia.
