Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) Minister of State Artak Beglaryan had meetings with Armenian community circles in Boston, USA.
Besides, the Minister of State delivered a comprehensive address at an event that was held at Armenian Heritage Park in Boston, and which was dedicated to the Armenians who died in the 44-day Artsakh war last fall.
Presenting the current situation and the vision for the future of Artsakh, he stressed that the righteous struggle of the Artsakh Armenians continues for the international recognition of their right to self-determination and independence, and aiming to ensure sustainable development and security in all key spheres.
Beglaryan added, however, that from now on the Armenian diaspora should not assist the Homeland, but rather participate in the efforts for the development and strengthening of the Homeland, placing the main focus on the establishment of institutions and the development of local capacities.
The Artsakh State Minister held a number of other meetings with the leadership of the Boston Armenian community organizations, during which the programs being implemented in Artsakh, as well as the current needs and priorities were discussed.
