The servicemen of the Russian peacekeeping contingent, together with benefactors, organized the delivery of about 2 tons of humanitarian cargo to needy displaced persons and large families of the remote village of Khnushinak in Nagorno-Karabakh.
During the campaign, assistance was provided to about 1 thousand residents of the village of Khnushinaki, located near the demarcation line of the sides of Nagorno-Karabakh.
Earlier, another batch of humanitarian cargo for needy displaced persons and large families of Nagorno-Karabakh was delivered from Moscow to Yerevan by a military transport aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces. 10 tons of humanitarian aid was collected by charitable organizations and loaded onto a military board at the Chkalovsky airfield in the Moscow region. Then the cargo from Yerevan was delivered by peacekeepers to Nagorno-Karabakh.
Currently, the specialists of the Russian humanitarian response center have issued about 6.5 tons of cargo to residents, schools, kindergartens and administrations in the towns and villages of Mardakert, Khnushinak, Khramort, Gishi of Nagorny Kararbakh.
In accordance with the agreements specified in the joint statement of the President of the Russian Federation, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, from 00:00 (Moscow time) on November 10, 2020, a complete ceasefire and all hostilities in Nagorno-Karabakh were announced.
To monitor the ceasefire and military operations, a peacekeeping contingent of the Russian Federation is being deployed in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone.
