China is on the list of the main export destinations for Armenia, but in terms of volume, the export of goods is about $ 300 million. The export of services to China is also very small, if we take into account the unfulfilled potential that exists in our relations with that huge market. Armenia’s Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobyan wrote about this on his Facebook page.
“Today I participated in ‘Export to China: Great Goals and Great Achievements’ event, organized by Todd Fabacher and his team, who is the author of the Digital Distrikt urban development program of the largest Digital Pomegranate IT company in Gyumri.
Digital Pomegranate is an exception in this context, as most of its customers are Chinese companies.
Such initiatives are very important to shape our Chinese agenda and to make a breakthrough in the current situation. We are ready to support any initiative aimed at identifying and diversifying export markets,” the Minister wrote.
