On November 4, the Head of the Civil Contract faction of the Armenian National Assembly Hayk Konjoryan, the members of the faction Hripsime Grigoryan, Sona Ghazaryan and Arusyak Julhakyan met with Kimmo Kiljunen and Boriana Åberg, the co-rapporteurs of Armenia for the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) Monitoring Committee.
Hayk Konjoryan highlighted the strengthening of democracy in Armenia, stressing that the reinforcement of democratic institutes is one of the most important priorities of the political majority.
The MPs touched upon the electoral reforms, the recovery of the political system, as well as the issue of establishing independent judicial system.
