Georgia reported 5 206 coronavirus cases, 4 648 recoveries, and 53 deaths on Thursday, the official figures show, the First Channel reports.
Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 1 885 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 979 cases, and the Kakheti region with 530 cases.
A total of 48 615 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country. Among them, 32 423 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 16 192 were PCR tests.
The daily test-positivity rate stands at 10,71 %, while 9,34 % in the past 14 days.
Georgia’s total case tally reached 738 171 among them 678 288 people recovered and 10 238 died.
There are 37 people quarantined, 6 648 Covid-19 patients are hospitalized, 1 159 asymptomatic, and mild symptom patients are placed at the government-assigned facilities.
As of November 4, 1 990 501 people got the Covid-19 vaccine, with 3 469 in a day.
