The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) predicts a 5,5% economic growth in the countries where it implements programs. This was said in the report published by the bank on the regional economic prospects.
The document studies the situation in about 40 emerging markets.
According to the predictions of the EBRD, in the countries of Eastern Europe and Southern Caucasus, the economic growth will be registered by an average of 3,6% in 2021 and 2,9% in 2022. In Armenia, particularly, 5% economic growth is predicted in 2021 and 5,3% in 2022. In case of Azerbaijan, 4% economic growth is predicted in 2021 and 3,2% in 2022.
Economic growth is also predicted in Russia, Central Asia, Mediterranean region and elsewhere.
