Artak Beglaryan, State Minister of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh), visited the Los Angeles City Hall where he met with a group of city councilmembers headed by Paul Krekorian, the information and public relations department of the Artsakh Minister of State’s office reports.
The State Minister lauded the continued support of the Los Angeles City Council, and personally Krekorian, for the protection of the rights and interests of the people of Artsakh. He emphasized, in particular, the four resolutions adopted during the Artsakh war last fall, and which reflected the Los Angeles City Council’s respect for indigenous peoples, peace, and human rights.
Also, Artak Beglaryan awarded Paul Krekorian with the medal of the Artsakh Minister of State and in recognition of his considerable contribution to collaboration between Artsakh and Los Angeles.
All the Los Angeles City Councilmembers at this meeting reaffirmed their support for the rights of the people of Artsakh and the international recognition of Artsakh’s independence.
The interlocutors exchanged views on the deepening and implementation of bilateral relations, especially taking into account the priorities of post-war needs.
