Georgia reported 3 965 coronavirus cases, 4 627 recoveries, and 43 deaths on Friday, the official figures show, First Channel reports.
Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 1 416 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 753 cases, and the Kakheti region with 427 cases.
A total of 48 513 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country. Among them, 30 303 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 18 210 were PCR tests.
The daily test-positivity rate stands at 8, 17 %, while 8, 94 % in the past 14 days.
Georgia’s total case tally reached 711 255 among them 652 505 people recovered and 9 961 died.
There are 44 people quarantined, 6 330 Covid-19 patients are hospitalized, 1 059 asymptomatic, and mild symptom patients are placed at the government-assigned facilities.
As of October 29, 1 970 109 people got the Covid-19 vaccine, with 4 023 in a day.
