On October 29, the Chair of the National Assembly’s Standing Committee on Foreign Relations Eduard Aghajanyan received Pawel Cieplak, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Poland to the Republic of Armenia. The Head of the Armenian NA Armenia-Poland Friendship Group Arusyak Julhakyan took part in the meeting.
Welcoming the Ambassador, Eduard Aghajanyan underlined the friendly relations between the two countries’ peoples and evaluated the cooperation with the Parliament of Poland.
Speaking about the development of the Armenian-Polish cooperation in different spheres the holding of the Polish Culture Days in Armenia and the events being organized within that framework were highlighted. Eduard Aghajanyan expressed conviction that such initiatives promote the expansion of the cultural ties between the two countries’ peoples.
The issue of presenting the Armenian cultural heritage in Poland was also touched upon.
Thanking for the reception, the Ambassador emphasized the cooperation with Armenia in the format of Armenia-European Union relations.
The post-war situation was touched upon. Eduard Aghajanyan highly assessed the support of the Polish authorities after 44-day war in organizing the two-week visit of Artsakh teenagers to Poland.
