On October 28, Hayk Konjoryan, the Head of the Armenian Civil Contract Faction of the National Assembly met with Sergei Kopyrkin, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Armenia.
Hayk Konjoryan touched upon the issue of the urgent return of Armenian prisoners of war being kept in Azerbaijan, according to the November 9, 2020 statement.
Issues on the further development of the Armenian Russian inter-parliamentary ties on the bilateral, as well as multi-lateral inter-parliamentary platforms were discussed.
The works being done within the framework of the Inter-Parliamentary Committee on Cooperation between the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia and the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation were highlighted.
