Georgia reported 4,411 coronavirus cases, 2,896 recoveries, and 29 deaths on Thursday, the official figures show, First Channel reports.
Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 1,456 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 827 cases, and the Kakheti region with 696 cases.
A total of 53,700 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country. Among them, 33,678 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 20,022 were PCR tests.
The daily test-positivity rate stands at 8,21 %, while 8,83 % in the past 14 days.
Georgia’s total case tally reached 680,182, among them 622,181 people recovered and 9,617 died.
There are 48 people quarantined, 5,725 Covid-19 patients are hospitalized, 1,012 asymptomatic, and mild symptom patients are placed at the government-assigned facilities.
As of October 21, 1,932,643 people got the Covid-19 vaccine, with 5,194 in a day.
