On October 19, in a video message sent to the opening session of the TRT World Forum 2021, Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan state that “it is impossible for this system to continue in its current structure, in which the Islamic world has no say, the demands of Africa, Latin America, and South Asia are ignored, and only the interests of the five most powerful countries are taken into account.”
According to Erdogan, the need for reform in the United Nations and other international organizations can no longer be disregarded.
Earlier, during a visit to Angola, Erdogan said that the fate of humanity should not depend on “a group of countries” that won World War II. According to him, international relations are undergoing radical changes, so the global security system cannot remain the same.
