Georgia reported 3 270 coronavirus cases, 1 298 recoveries, and 26 deaths on Friday, the official figures show, First channel reports.
Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 920 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 700 cases, and the Kakheti region with 586 cases.
A total of 38 093 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country. Among them, 20 592 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 17 501 were PCR tests.
The daily test-positivity rate stands at 8,58 %, while 7,58 % in the past 14 days.
Georgia’s total case tally reached 652 677, among them 608 861 people recovered and 9 396 died.
There are 64 people quarantined, 5 153 Covid-19 patients are hospitalized, 907 asymptomatic, and mild symptom patients are placed at the government-assigned facilities.
As of October 15, 1 899 938 people got the Covid-19 vaccine, with 3 843 in a day.
