Anahit Avanesyan, the Minister of Health participated in the Eurasian Women’s Forum in Saint Petersburg, which was held by the presidency of Galina Karelova, the Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation.
Anna Hakobyan, the wife of the Armenian Prime Minister was also present at the forum. She made a speech in the session of “The mission of the women in developing peaceful and trustworthy diplomacy”.
The participation of Armenia in this event is important as the component of the health program cooperation between countries.
Anahit Avanesyan’s speech at the session had the title of “The mission of women, together for a healthy present and future”.
The role of a woman in different spheres of policy and economy was stressed during the event. In this context, it was emphasized that the health care system has an important role in developing and managing the social life.
Healthy society is one of the pillars of the system, a mother and a woman can have a key role in formulating healthy society, a healthy upbringing for the children and overall promoting healthy lifestyle.
