The International Court of Justice of the United Nations restarted the second phase of the discussion based on international convention of the elimination of all forms of racial discrimination. The Court of Hague listens to the position of the Armenian side on objections presented by Azerbaijan.
The interests of Armenia in the UN International Court of Justice are presented by Yeghishe Kirakosyan, the Representative of the Republic of Armenia before the European Court of Human Rights and well-known experts of the international law.
The court is expected to announce the decision on the Armenia and Azerbaijan case until the end of the year:
“There was an impression that Azerbaijan does everything right, everything is fine and there is no necessity for the decision by the court in general because Azerbaijan has international responsibilities which in my opinion sounds absurd.
Our team countered their unfounded, not so convincing, so called arguments”, said Yeghishe Kirakosyan, the Representative of the Republic of Armenia before the European Court of Human Rights and well-known experts of the international law.
