Maria Zakharova, the Official Representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry referred to the case of the fatal injury of a peaceful civilian because of the shelling of the Azerbaijani side in Martakert, November 9, expressing deep condolences to all the relatives of the victim.
“The Russian peacekeeping military group implements a corresponding investigation with the involvement of the representatives of the two sides. For coordinating the efforts directed to preventing the accidents in their area of responsibility, Russian peacekeepers cooperate with the headquarters of Armenian and Azerbaijani Armed Forces”, mentioned Zakharova.
According to her, the tragic incident confirms the importance of unconditionally preserving all the provisions of the statements of the three countries: “We call on the sides to eliminate the existent mutual irritants in the humanitarian field as soon as possible, exchange the maps of minefields and captives fully.”
