President Armen Sarkissian appointed Arsen Avagyan as the new Armenian Ambassador to Iran, replacing Artashes Tumanyan, the presidency reported.
As reported earlier, Artashes Tumanyan has been recalled from the post of Armenia’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Islamic Republic of Iran.
President Armen Sarkissian has signed a relevant decree.
