Victor Biagov, Permanent and Plenipotentiary Representative of Armenia to the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), was elected Chairman of the Permanent Council of the organization in connection of CSTO presidency rotation in 2021-2022, which will be transferred from Tajikistan to Armenia.
Armenia assumed chairmanship in CSTO in 2021 September 16 at a summit in Dushanbe, Tajikistan.
CSTO member states are Armenia, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.
