Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow.
“We are in constant contact with you by phone. Of course, personal meetings are always productive in order to achieve the desired result. I hope it will be the same this time,” Russian President said at the beginning of the meeting.
Putin noted that they will discuss current issues with Armenia’s Prime Minister, will talk about prospects.
“The CIS summit will take place soon. I would like to coordinate with you in this direction, as well as on the main issues of our cooperation, including the settlement of the regional situation in the current, long-term perspective,” Putin added.
Nikol Pashinyan noted that this is his fourth meeting with the Russian President this year.
“Such frequent meetings testify to the high dynamics of our relations, the strength and mutual understanding of our allied strategic relations. Of course, dynamic processes are taking place in our region, all over the world, and it is very important that the allies meet often and coordinate actions,” Armenia’s Prime Minister said.
He reminded that it is still impossible to speak about the complete stabilization of the regional situation, and the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict has not been resolved yet.
“Russia is a key player in resolving the conflict and ensuring regional security. It is a co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group,” Pashinyan said.
