The Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent a congratulatory message to Fumio Kishida on being elected.
The message says:
“Your Excellence,
I warmly congratulate you on being elected as the Prime Minister of Japan.
I record with satisfaction that friendly relations based on mutual respect were formulated between Armenia and Japan in the past years, year by year the bilateral cooperation expands including new spheres of economic and cultural life. I am sure that during your post, Armenian-Japanese relationships will be replenished with new programs and initiatives.
Armenia and Armenian people are thankful for the continuous support of Japan, which has an important role in our country’s development.
Giving great importance to developing further close connections with Japan, I express readiness to make efforts to developing and strengthening the existent connections between our countries for the benefit of our nations. I wish you health and luck and the Japanese relative people peace and welfare.
