The Attorney General of Moldova Alexander Stoyanoglo is accused of bribery and passive corruption. This was reported by TASS with reference to prosecutor Viktro Furtune.
It is clarified that Stoyanoglo was detained for 72 hours by intelligence and security officers. The former attorney general was taken out of the department building and taken away in an unknown direction.
Earlier it became known that criminal proceedings against the Attorney General have been opened in Moldova. In connection with the investigation, Stoyanoglo was removed from office.
