Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar and Azerbaijani Defense Minister Zakir Hasanov met within the framework of their official visit to Georgia, Georgian media reported.
Issues of development of cooperation in military, military-technical, military-educational spheres and other spheres were discussed at the meeting. The importance of the experience gained by the servicemen of the two countries during the joint exercises was emphasized.
Hasanov thanked his Turkish counterpart for Turkey's support in the recent Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) war.
The parties noted that the relations between the heads of the states have a positive impact on military cooperation.
