Representatives of the ruling Georgian Dream - Democratic Georgia party are leading in all municipalities in local elections, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili said at a press briefing on Saturday, TASS reports.
“According to existing information, our party and candidates are winning with confidence and by a large margin in all municipalities, but each of you needs a vote to further consolidate this victory,” he said.
The head of the United National Movement party, candidate for mayor of the Georgian capital, Nika Melia, is convinced that the opposition will win the elections in Tbilisi. "The opposition is confidently winning in Tbilisi. Now the main thing is that we go to the polling stations and widen the gap between the Georgian people and the Georgian Dream,” the politician announced at a briefing.
