Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent a congratulatory message to Nicos Anastasiades, the President of the Republic of Cyprus on the Independence day.
The message says:
“On the behalf of the Armenian Parliament and myself, I sincerely congratulate and send you and the relative people of Cyprus the best wishes on the national holiday of the Independence.
I state with satisfaction that the Armenian-Cypriot relationships based on centuries-old and firm relations continue to develop with the spirit of brotherhood and mutual understanding.
Dear relative, I express my deep gratitude to you, the high authorities of Cyprus and the Cypriot brotherly nation for being with Armenia during the difficult period of Azeri-Turkish aggression and reestablishing the unconditional support on condemning aggression. Your sincere and unwavering position testifies the unshakable relations of the Armenian and Cypriot nations.
Armenia and Cyprus are always committed to expanding and deepening the cooperation in bilateral, as well as multilateral platforms.
