Vahagn Khachatryan, the Minister of High-Tech Industry of Armenia received Masanori Fukushima, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Armenia.
Vahagn Khachatryan greeted the Ambassador and referred to the economic successes of Japan, the high technologies have a significant role in that. In Minister’s words, the experience of Japan, particularly in the context of the high-tech industry can be exemplary for our country and the progress of its economy.
Talking about the possibilities of cooperation in the technology field between the two countries, Vahagn Khachatryan especially singled out the processes implemented in digitization.
The minister stressed that Japan is one of the leaders of digital efficiency and there are realistic conditions to effectively cooperate in this sphere.
Ambassador Masanori Fukushima congratulated Vahagn Khachatryan on undertaking the post and mentioned that Armenia is a very important partner for Japan.
Masanori Fukushima valued the economic connections, including the strengthening of the cooperation in the technological sphere, the expansion of cooperative connections between the regions, the implementation of the youth exchange programs.
In the words of the Ambassador, there are many resources for developing technological sphere in Armenia and the Japanese side sees a number of opportunities for cooperation in our country.
During the meeting, there was a reference to the obtained agreement, according to which the group of Japanese experts will work with our experts.
