An earthquake measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale jolted Iran's Quchan region in northeastern Khorasan Razavi province on Monday morning, Iranian Seismological Center reported.
The tremor occurred at around 08:32 a.m. local time with its epicenter at a latitude of 37.083 degrees north and a longitude of 58.855 degrees east and a depth of 6 km.
No specific damage was reported so far, the head of the Khorasan Razavi Crisis Management said on state TV shortly after the quake.
