Today, Juan Genaro Del Campo Rodríguez (residence in Moscow), the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Peru to Armenia handed over the credentials to Armen Sarkissian, the President of the Armenian Republic.
President Sarkissian congratulated the diplomat and wished efficient work. The President expressed assurance that the Ambassador will have his contribution to the activation of bilateral relationships.
Ambassador Juan Genaro Del Campo Rodríguez emphasized that he is ready to make practical moves in the direction of the development of Armenian-Peruvian relationships.
During the meeting, there was a reference related to the possibilities of promoting commercial-economic relations, the activation of cooperative development and connections between the two countries.
It was mentioned that there is a cooperative potential in the fields of technology, mining, education. From the perspective of activating the contacts between the two nations, the sides valued the implementation of the exchange programs and the cooperation in the sphere of culture.
In this context, organizing Armenian cultural days in Peru and Peruvian cultural days in Armenia were discussed, in connection with the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relationships between Armenia and Peru.
