Despite the challenges caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, tourism was quite activite in Armenia in the summer.
The Tourism Committee stated that 313,396 tourists visited Armenia in the summer, and in January-August that number was 488,558.
Most of the tourists who came to our country came from Russia, followed by those from Iran and Georgia.
There were visits from the Ukraine, India and other countries.
Tourist visits were most active in summer - in August.
The number of visitors to Armenia from abroad in June was 64,101, in July - 106,127, in August - 143,168.
