Georgia waits for the fifth wave of coronavirus in November, Amiran Gamkrelidze, the head of the Georgian National Center For Disease Control And Public Health said.
In his words the fifth wave is unavoidable in the whole world but if the majority of the population vaccinates, it will not be difficult to overcome. The daily indicator of vaccinations in the country is 15.000, while according to the expectations of epidemiologists, it should have been a double more.
According to the latest data, 1.700.895 vaccinations were done in Georgia in general, 740.814 citizens have vaccinated with two dosages.
