On September 23, Arman Yeghoyan, the President of the Standing Committee on European Integration, Arsen Torosyan, the President of the Committee had a meeting with Dimitris Markopoulos, the Co-Chair of the Greece-Armenia friendship group of the Greek Parliament and the deputies of the special permanent commission of European relations.
During the meeting the deputies have talked about the similarity of the historical faiths of the Armenian and Greek nations, referred to the friendly relationships of centuries between the two nations which predetermined the cooperation in current economic, strategic, cultural, tourism and a number of other areas.
The parliamentarians have also talked about the existent challenges in the region, the tasks to provide regional stability and in other context, the necessity to deepen the cooperation.
The sides also valued the continuum of the partnership in different international areas and the further development of parliamentary ties.
